My favorite nanny moment I would say was when I was watching a group of kiddos and the youngest had accidentally ran into me when we were playing hide in seek and she looked up at me and said “I was never here” then ran off to hide from the seeker (who was me). And when I found her she was shocked I was the seeker and acted like she couldn’t see me, and all the rest of the kids I was watching started copying her and pretending I was invisible.

Hi! I'm a Grandma of 4 grandsons who are all teenagers now and I desperately miss caring and playing with infants. I moved from Iowa to Portland in the summer of 2024, but prior to moving, I was a part time nanny for a beautiful family. I started with their first baby at 3 months of age and they had their second baby boy when he was 11 months old. I continued nannying for them up until I relocated to Portland. It was incredible having 2 little boys to care for again!
I also worked with newborns in labor and delivery, pediatrics and NICU at Unitypoint St. Luke's in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for over 20 years as a nursing assistant.
So, needless to say, I'm really missing having that baby contact!
