Hello! I've been a sitter since 13 years old caring for my younger brother with special needs. I absolutely adore working with children! I have worked at various camps (both sleep away and day camps) throughout the years and have also babysat regularly. I work with children of all ages and specifically children on and off the autism spectrum. When I am not working, you can typically find me in my school's theater or costume shop working on my next masterpiece as a costume designer! (With Halloween coming up, I can also help with costume planning/crafting!) Aside from that, I love to sew, cook, read, crochet, watch movies, and play video games!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I like to think that the most important part about being a nanny is the impact and influence I have on the children that I work with. I always try my best to have as much fun as possible, make chores fun, and give them something exciting to think and talk about to their parents when they come home. I pride myself in being a positive influence and role model for all the children that I work with.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked at a special needs day camp since I was about 15 years old, but I also grew up with a brother with special needs. I live with my single mom and brother, so I started watching him regularly while my mom was at work at 13 years old. It is so gratifying working with all different kinds of children, both on and off the spectrum, and has taught me immense amounts of empathy and patience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I am a costume design student at college, and when one of my kids that I babysit came to one of the shows I did in high school (Mamma Mia), she immediately begged her parents to take up sewing lessons. Every time I come over, we are always working on some sort of arts and crafts or sewing project together!
