Hello! I am a young 21 woman who’s very energetic and outgoing. I’ve worked with children throughout my life and I love to help them explore their favorite hobbies, games, and interests. I like adventure and making anything fun. I love the outdoors and I am always up to teaching children about nature and enjoying the sunshine. I am also up to date on all things video games and current media so I know what is and isn’t appropriate or safe for your children to be involved with on the internet. I like cooking and cleaning as well. Most importantly I enjoy helping kids not only have fun, but I like to foster an emotionally and physically safe environment for them to grow up while they are in my care.

I’ve worked with children at different summer camps and I worked as teacher’s aide at a school for special needs children in Long Island.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

For indoor activities, I enjoying helping children with coloring and art projects, puzzles, board games, reading, and helping them explore their own interests

As for outdoor activities, I was a scout in the Girl Scouts of America, American, Heritage Girls, Venture Crew, and Scouting BSA so I am a big advocate for enjoying the outdoors. I love taking children to the many NYC parks and playgrounds and tell them all about nature and its wonders.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with special needs children my whole life. When I was a in Highschool I helped with local special needs events often which included working with both physically, mentally, and socially special needs children. I also worked as a teachers aide at a school for special needs children in brookville Long Island for a short while until my move to nyc

The most important part about being a nanny...

Teaching one of the kids I was sitting how to do flower book pressing and leaf imprints on paper.

She loved the outdoors and always talked about wanting to start her own garden. The apartment she was in didn't have a front yard and it wasn't possible to grow flowers inside.

One day at the park she really wanted to bring home one of those cherry blossom flowers, so instead of just helping her pick the right flower, I told her their was a way for her to keep with her at home.

She was so happy and excited at simply pressing flowers in a little book. One of the best moments I've had while baby sitting.
