At home growing up! My mom ran a daycare center and my grandma owned one separate from my mom's! Always had lots of kids around and then I volunteered at my grandma's center for 3 1/2 years in high school! And my nieces and nephews!! I have A LOT of them and I'll watch them regularly for my brothers!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love finding fun DIY projects that are productive and can provide a great use in a child's everyday life that are of course fun and can provide also a good learning tool for the child's growth and always seeing the accomplishment of creating something is a great feeling for a child helps boost them up!
I love to find kid related and age appropriate science experiments (ONLY safe and clean ones sometimes a little messy is okay outside I'll clean up everything) simple fun learning experiences that can teach while also have a blast!!
And a lot more I love games board games sports games.
I basically would spend the time to find your child's interests and correspond with finding things that go along with what they like for stuff to do and what will keep them busy in a very positive way!

Is creating a bond with the child/children and parents also where we can have a good healthy happy environment and and at the same time provide structure and stability while having SO MUCH FUN doing it while of course following all parents rules. But also not only will they learn new things I have came to learn I myself can learn so much from children also!
