Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a teacher's aid in an infant classroom (6 months- 1 year) for 3 years in college. I nannied for three different families after I graduated. One family had twin boys who were 2 months old when we met and just turned 1 on my last day. I nannied in Australia for a family with a 15 month old for one month. I also have 6 nieces and nephews, the oldest is 8 and the youngest are twins and are almost 1 year old!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to sing, and will be happy to teach some piano as well. I find being outside is one of the best activities for children to explore all of their senses and find unique things!

The most important part about being a nanny is understanding that this family is welcoming me into their home. Understanding that each family dynamic is different, each child is unique, and it is my job to be supportive and kind. I want to make sure each family knows how dedicated I am to keeping their children safe and happy!
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have any specific experience working with special needs children as a nanny, but in high school I volunteered in the special ed classroom and baked cookies and assisted in other classroom activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are always seeing when the children learn to do new things they had been struggling to do in the past. Kids are always growing and ever changing. It is so incredible to watch when they learn to do things for themselves. Whether it be crawling, walking, or cracking an egg while we're baking cookies. Those moments sprinkle magic into my day and I love to see how proud they are when they finally accomplish that thing they were striving to do for so long!
