I have 3+ years of babysitting experience with all ages inc. infants and mother to a beautiful 16-year-old boy. My career has consisted of direct work with children and families as a Social Worker. I currently work full time in a high school in downtown Manhattan with adolescents/families as Parent Coordinator. My BA is in Psychology/Sociology, I also have years of post graduate training in child development (can provide resume). I am currently seeking an opportunity to assist a family with as a part time/back up babysitter/nanny (afree school and/or weekends). I am a hard worker, a good communicator and highly collaborative (multiple references). I would describe my parenting style as a balance of nurturing, engaged, patient and loving with a good level of keeping structure and boundaries. Some examples are and crafts, reading, board games, creative or educational play tailored to the developmental needs of the child, outdoor activities approved by parent and enjoyed by child. I am really open to any activity that is healthy, fun and or educational for a child.
