More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy incorporating learning into play by doing puzzles, playing educational games, or reading books together. These activities are a great way to develop cognitive skills while having fun.
Spending time outside is a favorite of mine, whether it's going for nature walks, playing at the park, or organizing scavenger hunts. I find that outdoor play is great for both physical activity and learning about the environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny, to me, is building a trusting and loving relationship with both the children and their parents. Trust is the foundation of everything we do together—it allows children to feel safe and secure, which is essential for their emotional and physical development.
Beyond that, fostering an environment where children feel valued, heard, and encouraged is crucial. I believe that when children know they are supported and cared for, they are more confident, resilient, and curious about the world around them.
It’s also important to me to work closely with parents, ensuring that we are aligned in our approach to their child’s care and development. Open communication and mutual respect help create a consistent and nurturing environment for the child, both in and outside of the home.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments happened when I was caring for a little girl who was just starting to learn how to read. We had been working together on her reading skills for a few weeks, practicing with simple books and sounding out words. One afternoon, she picked up a book we hadn’t read together before and, to my surprise, she started reading it out loud on her own.
The look of pure joy and pride on her face when she realized she was actually reading the book all by herself was priceless. It was a beautiful reminder of why I love being a nanny—the opportunity to witness and be a part of those small, yet significant, moments of growth and achievement. It’s these moments that make all the time and effort so incredibly rewarding.
