A little bit about me...

I used to work at KinderCare as a pre-K teacher. I have experience in all ages. Because times are a bit hard at the moment it would be easiest to bring my 3 year old son with me but he loves other kids! Would love to speak more and get to know you and your kiddo or kiddos!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is connecting with your child or children but also being open with the parents and keeping them up to date with everything. Also taking pictures for the parents is one of my favorite things to do for them.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was a bit younger I watched a child from toddler age until middle school who needed a special diet, medication, and patience when it came to most activities. I can also provide his his mothers number as a reference if you'd like more information.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I taught the little 4 year old I was watching to dance. His face lit up and he got it down right away!

Amanda O. - Seeking Work in Portland

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Amanda O.

My name is Amanda and I’m currently a meat lead at New Seasons but looking for a nanny job! I have a lot of previous experience with kids as I have a really large family, including a bunch of nieces & nephews and little brother and sisters that I adore (all between the ages of 6 mos. and 16 years). I’ve been babysitting and taking care of kids of all ages, for my family and professionally since about 5th grade. In high school I took a class assisting with the special needs PE class and hung out with the special education students at the middle school on my free periods. My availability right now isn’t very open but I’m looking for something full time so I can leave the food industry.
