A little bit about me

My name is Sonali and I recently completed my master's degree in computer science at NYU. I'm looking to spend the next 6 months or so working in childcare before I start looking for a long-term job. I love kids of all ages, I'm patient and respectful of their needs and emotions, and as a result, they tend to like me too! My experience in childcare comes from being a camp counselor for children ages 4-12 for several years, and babysitting during high school and college. I had a fantastic education that emphasized social emotional learning, and have also learned so many fantastic regulating and coping mechanisms from my mother, a therapist with over 35 years of experience. I'd love to pass these skills on, and to help take care of your kids and house- I'm also an excellent cook of vegetarian food!
