Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe every child is different and has their own personality, interests, and individual needs. Because of this, I always take time to get to know the children I work with first in order to create the most comfortable, supportive, and enjoyable environment for them.
I enjoy encouraging learning through fun and engaging activities adapted to each child’s interests and age. Some children enjoy reading books and creative activities, while others prefer sports, outdoor play, educational games, or interactive learning. I aim to create a positive balance between fun, emotional support, creativity, and development.
I especially enjoy:
Reading and storytelling
Arts, crafts, and creative activities
Outdoor activities and sports
Educational games and learning through play
Helping with homework and study routines
Encouraging confidence, curiosity, and creativity in children

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe one of the most important parts of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and comforting environment for children, especially when parents are busy with work and daily responsibilities. A nanny becomes someone children can trust, feel comfortable around, and rely on throughout their everyday routines.
For me, childcare is not only about supervision, but also about helping children feel understood, encouraged, and confident while supporting their emotional and personal development. I believe patience, kindness, communication, and genuine care are essential in building strong relationships with children and helping them grow in a positive environment.

My experience with special needs children...

I also have experience working with children with special needs. I worked with a family caring for a 6-year-old child with autism, where I learned the importance of patience, understanding, routine, and adapting communication and activities to the child’s individual needs and comfort level.
This experience helped me further develop empathy, calm problem-solving skills, and the ability to create a supportive and safe environment where children feel understood and comfortable expressing themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories as a nanny was with a 12-year-old girl I cared for. She loved art, and I spent a lot of time teaching her how to draw and encouraging her creativity.
When I was leaving the family to move to a different city, she surprised me with a drawing of me that she made as a thank-you gift. It was a very meaningful moment for me and reminded me how special the bonds built with children can be.
