A little bit about me

I’m Wil. I am the oldest of 11 and raised my siblings and cousins while our parents worked. I am now getting my second bachelors in education specifically of those with high functioning learning disabilities. My background is bio/chem so I know more than basic healthcare since dropping out of two med school programs. My life motto is, “ be the world you wish to live in.” I also believe that when we cease to learn we begin to die. Everyone learns something new every day until their last breath. I want to teach the world how to be enthusiastic about life and learning about it so they can feel the reward of spreading priceless knowledge to others. I’m currently a full time student but keep a flexible schedule. I specialize in kids with dyslexia/ dysgraphia, add/adhd, defiance disorder, and slight autism. I’m also a sober living advocate and have counseling experience for people that suffer from anxiety and depression without harmful SSRI’s. I am Christian and can bring that aspect in

I know ASL from high school and tutored children at the Texas School for the deaf in Austin while I was at Crockett HS in A.I.S.D.
I also helped the other less fortunate students with learning disabilities to adopt my coping mechanisms or helped then develop their own. All humans are different and we all learn different as well

The most important part about being a nanny...

When a child hugs me out of no where and tell me, “I love you Wil/Billy.” It is moments like that that not only make my job but my life fulfilled since I made this world a better place for another human being. That is what makes all the effort worth it and frankly my life as well since that encompasses my life’s purpose
