We are looking for child care just for Josh. It would be somewhat flexible, but are hoping for someone that can come in the mornings to early afternoon. Basically feed him breakfast, play with him for a few hours, feed him lunch and then put him down for his nap. He typically goes down between 12:30-1pm. So ideally we'd be looking for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week: Mon-Fri, 8am - 1pm.
My husband and I work from home 90% of the time, so we would be onsite and available as needed, but in a separate area of the house.
We also have a 7 month old puppy (about 40lbs), so we would like someone who is animal/dog friendly. He is a sweetheart but can occasionally get a little rambunctious with his puppy energy, so we can always keep him out of the way as needed. Although Josh does LOVE throwing the ball for him outside, so that's always an option too. :)
Additionally, we are a very covid-cautious family. We are all vaccinated and as soon as the vaccine is available to the under 5 age group, our son will be too. We would like to hire someone with a similar mindset who is also vaccinated.

We are an easygoing and outdoorsy family, father is a small business owner & beekeeper who is in-and-out of the home throughout the day, and mother works in spirits marketing located in an office Downtown M-Th. Nanny will have Fri-Sun off!
We will pay holidays that fall between M-Th (even if care isn’t required)! This will include New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We do typically take an unpaid week family vacation in October and will provide at least 4 months (or more) advance notice. CPR certification for infants is required, we will cover the cost for this training if needed!
Must be animal-friendly, we have a sweet cat and a 3 y.o. golden retriever who is very well behaved and loving towards kids!
We would hope that our Nanny help out with light laundry etc. while baby is asleep. Great role for a student who would like to get homework or studying done during down time! Lovely MacArthur Park is a short walk down the street for an activity option outside the home. Nanny should be water-safe, we do have a pool. We do not have immunization requirements of our Nanny.
Looking forward to finding a great fit for our family and potential Nanny!
