A little bit about us

Hello!

We are looking for a nanny for our daughter. It would be great to have someone M-F from about 8-4 but if you're not looking for full- time we could also just do set days (ideally Tuesday and Thursday.

Our daughter's name is Colby and she's pretty fun. She loves being outside, playing tag, getting tickled and trying to climb on things she's not supposed to.

We're looking for someone fun and high energy who will also help her foster independent play.

We look forward to meeting you!

A little bit about us

Hello kind soul! We are a family of four nestled in the hills on a beautiful property. We have two amazing autistic children and are looking for an extra resource for our son who just turned five. He loves being outside in nature and just being. There is a lot of downtime with him sitting outside on the driveway, swinging, sitting in the dirt in the back, watching the trees blow in the wind and being present in each moment. He processes through movement. He is a gestalt language processor and right now speaks in gestalts and single words. He is not ready to potty train quite yet. He is fiercely independent but a huge connector when he feels safe. Our philosophy is child led and we allow the freedom to take risks and learn and grow. He climbs in the windows, kabooms down onto his bed or bean bag, hangs upside down, loves his dogs (golden and border collie), spins and runs his way through life while also slowing down to just be. He is truly amazing. We are looking for someone (ideally a couple people) to be a part of this and connect with our bubba to be a safe space for him. Mostly helping him with snacks and meals, following him around without inserting yourself too much and keeping him safe is what the job entails but you get the added benefit of getting to spend time with such a special human.

We also have a two year old daughter who will be with mama most of the time. Brother and sister can overstimulate/dysregulate each other at times. We work to honor everyone’s sensory and emotional needs.

Our home is messy and filled with so much love. It’s a happy, warm home where everyone has the space and freedom to be who they are.

We can be very flexible on hours and days.

We have two kids at home quinn who is an 9 year old girl, and Joaquin who is an 13 year old boy with special needs. He is not verbal and uses a wheelchair. He needs help with all activities of daily living ( eating, dressing, diapered). It might sound hard but he’s a total sweetie and easy to care for. We are looking for a live-in caregiver who is fun, outgoing, loving and social. We travel a lot and so your schedule will vary. We can guarantee 15 hours a week as long as you are flexible with how that time is allotted (30 hours one week, no hours next week for instance). We can work with your schedule and come up with something that works with your life.

We love travel, food, art, adventures Into the wilderness, books, music, movies, and friends.

We are a very liberal family. You can bring you pet to work if they get along well with the kids and animals here. We live in the forest with lots of pets already.
