A little bit about us
We like to keep the kids active, engaged, and on a routine. We aren’t an overly strict household, but we do believe kids thrive with consistency, so our weekdays generally follow the same routine. We’d love someone who can help maintain that structure while still having fun with the kids—playing outside, coming up with activities, keeping them engaged, and helping things run smoothly.
The kids are in school on weekdays from approximately 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, so this is not a traditional Monday–Friday, full-time nanny position. Most of the help we need will be on weekends, occasional weekdays, and during overnight trips when Mom and Dad are away. Our needs change from week to week, we do not currently have a set schedule.
Some days may include after-school pickup for our two youngest children. You must be a confident and responsible driver with reliable transportation.
Responsibilities may include caring for and supervising the children, preparing simple meals/snacks, helping maintain their normal routines, planning age-appropriate activities, school pickup when needed, light tidying related to the kids, and helping care for Francois as needed. Most importantly, we want someone who can be warm and playful with our kids while still providing the structure and boundaries they need. There may occasionally be overnight care while we travel, we’re especially interested in finding someone we can build a long-term, trusting relationship with rather than simply having an occasional babysitter.

A little bit about us
Our ideal caregiver is someone who genuinely enjoys caring for infants, is attentive and nurturing, and is comfortable following our daughter’s routine, including feeding, naps, playtime, and general baby care.
We also have two large, energetic dogs who are very much part of our family. They are friendly but can be excited and active, so it’s important that anyone interested is comfortable being around large, energetic dogs.
If it’s something that works with your availability, we would also love for our Wednesday nanny to become our occasional babysitter. We’re hoping to find someone we really trust and can build a relationship with, so we can reach out for occasional date nights, date brunches, or other times when we need childcare.
If you are interested, we would love to hear a little about you, your childcare experience, availability, and references!
