We are looking for a nanny that can take care of our 15 month old son at our home on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) to cover while we work. We need someone who has experience taking care of infants and can help with our child's development. Our nanny should have updated vaccines (TDaP, COVID and flu). We want someone to help with tasks related to the baby such as washing bottles and helps us with light house chores. I’m very focused on keeping my 6-month-old healthy and safe, especially when it comes to her diet and ensuring she stays away from illness. I take great care in maintaining a clean and sanitized home, particularly since she’s at that age where she’s exploring everything around her.
We’re looking for help with light housework and some playtime with our dog, who loves fetching the ball (if there’s time while the baby naps). Our main focus is giving our 6-month-old daughter the attention she needs as she reaches her milestones. We prefer playtime over screen time and are looking for someone who can be patient, loving, and supportive with her. Ideally, we’re hoping to find someone reliable who can help us long-term. Additionally, we prefer someone who has an up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification, a clean background, and current vaccinations. On weekday coverage days, we'd love someone who enjoys getting outside for walks and time in the neighborhood, while also being happy to spend slower days playing and hanging out at home. For evenings, it's usually a relaxed routine of dinner, play, and bedtime. We value open communication and want you to feel comfortable bringing your own experience, ideas, and personality.
Weekday coverage is typically 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility, and is usually planned in advance for PTO, with occasional shorter notice for sick days. We'll also need evening and weekend babysitting from time to time. This is a great fit for someone looking for flexible, part-time work with a family they can build an ongoing relationship with.
Prior professional childcare experience, comfort around dogs, and up-to-date vaccinations are important to us.
