A little bit about us

Hi! My husband and I are looking for a trustworthy, dependable nanny for our 5-year-old son, Blake. We live in Durhamville, NY and are specifically looking for someone who can provide temporary live-in care while we are away March 27–April 4, 2027.

During those dates, we would need someone to stay in our home with Blake for the entire trip, including overnights. He may have school during part of our trip, so responsibilities would include getting him ready in the morning and on the school bus, being there when he gets off the bus, preparing meals/snacks, helping with his normal bath and bedtime routine, playing with him and providing his everyday care and supervision.

We also have two dogs, so we need someone comfortable with pets who can let them outside and feed them once daily. We would appreciate light housekeeping/tidying while staying in our home as well.

We have a separate guest bedroom and guest living room for you to use during your stay, so you will have your own private and comfortable space.

You MUST have your own reliable vehicle and transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable being responsible for Blake for the full duration of our trip.

Although our trip isn’t until March 2027, we are intentionally looking early because we want to find someone we completely trust and give Blake time to become comfortable with them. We would ideally like to have you babysit for him occasionally before our trip so everyone can get to know each other beforehand.

We’re looking for someone responsible, caring, communicative and experienced with young children who will treat Blake and our home with care while we’re away. References and a background check will be required.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, we’d love to hear about you and your childcare experience!
