Location: Jacksonville, Tx
I am looking for a responsible caregiver for my 33-year-old son who is autistic and has limited vocabulary but is essentially without speech. The initial qualifications of the caregiver must be as follows:
1. Minimum age of 18.
2. High school diploma or GED equivalent
3. Drug free and a clean record; a criminal background check will be performed.
Daily duties would include:
1. Some meal preparation. Many meals will be previously or partially prepared, however, cooking skills are a plus.
2. Routine dressing, toileting and bathing.
3. Light housekeeping to provide a clean and safe environment
4. Interacting.

An average of around 20-25 hours a week is available. These hours, and the amount of hours/days per week, can be flexible on a weekly basis. Pay is approximately $21 and $19 per hour.
My son is a very lovable/docile person overall that enjoys attention. He has a desire and willingness to want to learn/communicate and enjoys the interaction of various activities both indoor and outdoor.
