A little bit about us

We are excited to welcome you and have you play an important role in the care and development of our child. The job will primarily consist of taking care of our 1 year old baby while my husband and I are away at work. You will be responsible for feeding her solid foods for breakfast, lunch and possibly dinner if we are not able to be home in time for the feeding. Additionally, you will be responsible for giving her 2-3 bottles throughout the day. Initially, I will prepare everything for you, but as you become more familiar with her routine and preferences, I would like for you to be able to make her food and bottles independently. Cleaning and sterilizing her bottles, pacifiers and spoons is also a crucial aspect of the job.
In terms of diapering, your main responsibility will be to ensure she is cleaned well and prevent any rashes. This includes changing her diaper promptly when she poops or pees and making sure she is not sitting in a soiled diaper for too long.
You will also be responsible for helping me with her laundry, which includes washing, folding and putting away her baby clothes in the designated cart or hanging them in her closet. The cart is where I keep all of her extra diapers, clothes and other necessities, so it is important that you are familiar with its contents and know where to find things in case of an emergency.
Another important aspect of the job is putting her down for naps. She typically takes two naps during the day, one around 10am that lasts for about an hour and 30 minutes, and the second nap after lunch around 1pm, which can last for 2-3 hours depending on her sleep schedule.
We hope that this job description aligns with your qualifications and that you will treat our daughter as if she were your own. We are looking for someone who can be a long-term member of our family, especially as we are expecting another child soon and will need all the help we can get.
