A little bit about us

Hello! My name is Johanna. I have a 1-year-old. I work 3 nights a week and my husband works 5 days a week. We both have random schedules, so there are no set days. But I can work my shifts around your availability. On the days that I work, I’d need help the whole day so that I can sleep for night shift. My husband would relieve you when he gets home from work. The earliest we would need help would be around 8:00 am and the latest we would need help until would be about 10:00 pm, but most shifts would be from about 10 am to about 8:30 pm.

A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for someone to help with our 17 month old daughter, Uma. Our schedule will be flexible as both my husband and myself mostly work from home. We own a shop in Wimberley where I will be some of the time. The hope is to have assistance around 15 hours a week Monday-Friday. Again, this is flexible as some days we will need a little more and others a little less, with options for evening care as my husband and I have not been on a date in ages! A schedule can be laid out a week or two in advance for all of our clarity.

Uma is truly a hilarious, easy-going gal. She is extremely sociable, loves being around people and other kids, likes being out of the house as much as she likes exploring our property, and does well in the car. We live on 11 acres on the edge of San Marcos where you are more than welcome to be and explore with her! Our two dogs and two cats will be happy to help you entertain Uma as well. ;)

My husband has two other children who are with us part-time. Right now we don't foresee that we will need anyone to help with our older boys (Odie is 7 and Avey is 12) but we want to be totally transparent in case we do end up needing support while they are with us.

We are happy to answer any questions to help get a better picture of our needs and for us to get to know one another better.
