A little bit about us

Hello, my son is a very sweet 5 year old boy who is non-verbal autistic. He really enjoys playing and being outside! He receives speech therapy, occupational therapy, and also attends ABA therapy as part of his schedule. I prefer someone experienced with children with ASD. I also have a 6 month old baby girl who is also very sweet and happy. I need someone that would be open to an alternating Saturdays for daytime hours and can also babysit every Friday for the baby only on that day. The approximate hours would be 8:00am - 2:00pm for each of those days. Other responsibilities would include reading and practicing activities from therapies for a portion of the day, engaging in playtime, meal and snack prep, and some housekeeping. Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

A little bit about us

Bi-weekly basis. My 3 year old daughter lives with me on a 50/50 custody arrangement with a high possibility of that increasing in the next few months. She is very shy and timid. I am actively working on socializing and introducing her to different people around our neighborhood. She speaks English and Spanish very well and can understand both languages. She is adjusting to our recent divorce. I raised her from birth in 2020 to earlier this year, ex-wife worked and I stayed home and did school. She is very attached to me and I would like someone to continue her socialization development. Mostly need afternoons/evenings help during the week and possibly mornings during the weekends. I am studying for on the job certifications and require study times. I will be present, in the office but I will be hands off. Most of the time I have meals prepped and clothes washed and cleaned, but sometimes with my work schedule I can foresee that being another reason why I am looking to hire a nanny.
Sophie is great at communicating her needs and is very playful once she feels comfortable. I am the only person she opens up to and would like help in her emotional/social development.
