We need someone to watch our infant boy two days a week in the afternoon. We may also ask to babysit the random date night if you're available.
Our son is a good baby; he loves mom, dad, and recently his hands and rattles. He needs a consistent schedule and good energy from a caregiver.
Our ideal person will have enough experience to quickly comfort and enjoy our little boy with songs and play. We are are also looking for someone who is organized, a good communicator, and professional.
We have two mature, sweet house cats who are very good with the baby.

This position is based in Ventura, and the weekly schedule will be 4 full days a week. Start date and weekly schedule has some flexibility. Some hours with just our baby boy, and some hours with both children.
Our ideal childcare provider would recognize play as central to a child’s growth as a capable, competent and self-initiated learner. We are looking for someone who is caring, proactive and attentive as well as supportive of our ideology of a screen-free approach (phones, computers, television, etc.). We’re looking for someone who will accompany our little ones in lots of outdoor play, walks to the playground or other fun activities.
We both have flexible schedules and will spend a lot of time with our childcare provider, and we hope that you will share our values of: kindness, acceptance, and honesty.
We also have a dog (a friendly black lab), so will need to be okay with animals.
Responsibilities:
• Implementing and following daily routine, including nap time
• Changing clothes and diapers, including cloth diapers
• Picking up from daycare
• Light meal preparation
• Light housekeeping (Picking up at end of day)
• Picking up from daycare
Requirements:
• Must be comfortable with dogs (We have a very loving Labrador!)
• Must have a car and valid driver’s license (We will provide car seats)
• Must be open to or previously trained in the RIE or Pikler method of childcare
Flexibility while using this approach is needed
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified
• Must have open, transparent and ongoing communication with parents
• No screen time for children (phones, computers, television)
