You can certainly go on your phone or your computer while you're caring for her as she plays LEGOs near you or reads a book, but she is also keenly aware when someone has decided to check out instead of being present. So--yeah--it's absolutely OK and understandable to have some off days when you're not 100% there for my kid (you're human, after all), but reminding her that you still care does matter to her. I hope that makes sense. Basically, I want someone who respects kids and their feelings.
Responsibilities for this job include pick up when school is dismissed and after-school care, so this would amount to about 3.5 hours a day from M-F (2:15pm-5:45pm).
