A little bit about us
We recently moved to Maine from St. Louis and JT started a preschool program here after being in more of a daycare environment in st. Louis. It is more tiring for him than our previous daycare, especially the aftercare where he can have trouble following directions and sharing in a large mixed-age group (it's pre school through fourth grade), and we would like to have a nanny cover the portion he would go to aftercare so that he gets some more personalized attention and can take it easy and rest if he needs to. Hours would be 3-5 Monday through Thursday (*if you end up taking over on pickup 2:40-5). JT is at Cape care on ocean house road, and we live right down the street, also on ocean house road!
Andrew (dad) works from home, and can do daycare pickup for a transition period...ideally this is something you would take over, in which case hours would be extended by 20 mins, but we're flexible. At the house, in addition to Andrew working, we also have Roxie the dog and Avery the cat. Roxie is a loud but friendly beagle basset mix and Avery is a senior grey cat. There are not any pet responsibilities, but they'll be around and like to be involved, so we hope you enjoy feline/canine company!
We are fine with you taking JT on outings if his energy level is up for it, or some days (if he didn't sleep during nap time at daycare) you may just let him sleep and be on call in the house.
It would be great to share with another family because we definitely want to encourage JTs sharing skills :) we're flexible on location and would be fine having another kiddo(s) at our house.
