A little bit about us
We mainly need care on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexible hours between 6/7 AM and 3/4 PM. I mostly work from home, but on days I go into the office, I may start later or return earlier, so your arrival and departure times could shift accordingly, and we would pay you for the hours worked. Occasionally, we may not need coverage on those days due to vacation or time off. While rare, there may be times we’d need help on a Monday, Thursday, or Friday, but this is not absolutely required.
We're looking for someone who has experience caring for infants (ideally under 6 months), is CPR and First Aid certified, has a car for reliable and timely transportation, and is a non-smoker who is not exposed to smoke or pets.
Basic responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, keeping our son safe, changing diapers and clothes, administering any vitamins or medications, paced bottle feeding, burping, swaddling, putting him to sleep, holding him upright for 20-30 minutes after feeds, washing and warming bottles (we have a bottle washer and warmer), prepping bottles (if needed), keeping the environment clean, and engaging him in developmental activities like tummy time, reading contrast books, sensory play, singing, playing, and active interaction. We ask that there be no screen time at all (no TV, phones, tablets, etc.).
If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d love to hear more about your experience and availability, including your start date, hourly rate, and whether you have references we can contact.
