A little bit about us

I’m hiring a nanny for my three boys (9, 7, 6) starting June 15 in State College. They’re active but independent, so it’s a pretty manageable setup compared to younger kids.

The role is full-time (7am–5pm weekdays) with occasional overnights when I travel. Driving is part of the job, and I can provide a vehicle if needed.

Pay is $2,400/month, with the option for housing if helpful. I’m ideally looking for someone reliable, energetic, and good with school-age kids.

A little bit about us

I’m a research scholar at Penn State and my husband is a manager at a Manufacturing company. We’re looking for a part-time nanny and housekeeper. We are expecting baby #3 in July of 2023, and we need temporary help for the next 6-7 months. Our oldest is 5 years, and our second is 2.5 years. We’re looking for somebody who can take care of household chores and help with childcare until approximately May 2023. The ideal candidate will have availability between 1-5pm 4-5 days a week, have a car and be dependable.

Household duties (1-3pm) include
> loading / unloading dishwasher
> laundry and folding clothes, using washer / dryer
> cutting vegetables and simple meal prep
> grocery shopping on select days
> basic upkeep cleaning
> thorough cleaning not part of responsibility. We have somebody who comes in every 2 weeks.

Childcare duties (3pm-5pm ) include
> assisting mom when tired
> supporting evening kids activities
> helping prep dinner with mom
> putting away kids backpacks toys etc.
> above household duties as time permits

If your car is driven for any grocery shopping or household tasks, we will reimburse you.

The childcare duties are required between 3pm-5pm, but we’re open to working with your availability on the household duties part. If you have classes, or other commitments, it can be moved around.

Friendly note: We do not want any children with you when you’re at work nannying for us.
