A little bit about us

Hello! We have two children, Roan (5yrs) & Ava (21 mos). We are parents that are looking for a responsible, caring & creative individual to assist w/ childcare in our home. Currently, this is a part time position, but can grow into a full time position in the early Fall. Roan is enrolled in Summer Camp, and will attends 3-5 days/week. Childcare assistance would mostly be needed for Ava. To start: Part Time Hours w/ Ava, Mon.-Fri., during business hours, as well as the occasional evening business meeting, or a long overdue date night, sitting for both Roan & Ava. We would love someone who feels comfortable in the water, swimming, and is also CPR certified. A drivers license is also a must. We have pool access in our neighborhood, and our children love to swim, but do need full supervision while doing so.
Mom & Dad both run our own businesses, and work from a home office 50% of the time. This does allow us to potentially be flexible with our hours for the right person.
We laugh and smile a lot in our house, and look forward to finding someone who likes to do the same. Our expectations, in terms of duties, will be childcare related only. For example, helping w/ sunscreen application, preparing their lunch, and making sure their dirty clothes are in their hampers, etc. We would never expect any cooking, family meals, cleaning, etc. The only thing we ask is that you are not on your phone while our children are in your care, unless there is an emergency, of course. We do not have any pets and this is also a non smoking household. Our son has several allergies that we try to protect him from :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little bit about our family, and we look forward to meeting you!
Julia, Jake, Roan & Ava Alexander
