A little bit about me
I began babysitting at age 15 and quickly realized how much I enjoyed it. After graduating high school, I gained valuable experience working in a daycare, where I learned more about child development and classroom structure. Some of my favorite activities to share with children include arts and crafts, imaginative play, and anything that encourages creativity.
I especially love connecting with kids on their level—playing, laughing, and exploring the world through their eyes. My nurturing spirit, combined with my artistic nature, helps me create a fun, reliable, and engaging environment for children of all ages.

I love communicating with kids and I am always talking to them to make sure they understand what is happening and learning through every day things. It's part of how I work with kids to make learning natural, we can talk about the color of a kids pants when I'm changing them or the number of berries on their plate. I always like to have fun with the kids and get involved when we do activities and it definitely helps the child understand how we are supposed to play. It's easy to modify any activity so a kid can go explore safely because exploration is how they grow. Patience, communication, boundaries, structure, and play based learning are key to a smooth day with young kids
I currently have an active AZ Fingerprint clearance card and active first aid/cpr certification. I went to ASU for 2 years studying for my BSN.

I can work on weekends and the occasional weekday in the evening. Currently, summer jobs (late May-early August) closer to the North Phoenix area would be perfect for me! I will have open availability during the summer.

A little bit about me
I have experience caring for children aged one to five years old, and I love it. I am a very responsible and hardworking person, and I make sure to create a positive environment for the children while I'm looking after them. I ensure that the place where I'm caring for them is clean and safe, and I make sure they eat their meals on time. I also like to be presentable, clean, and smelling nice, so that their parents can be confident that their child will be well cared for with me. I consider myself a trustworthy and respectful person. Caring for children is a great responsibility, so I can assure you that your child will be in good hands with me. I would appreciate the opportunity to work because I enjoy it and because I need to earn money. Thank you very much.

I also was a lead lifeguard for 3 years at a water park and was responsible for supervising multiple children, as well as a ski instructor during the winter season. I absolutely love working with kids and will always bring positive energy into a nanny job!

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Phoenix, AZ
Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.
From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Phoenix can impact how much you pay your babysitter.
Phoenix Babysitter Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a babysitter?
- What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Arizona?
- Do you have a Arizona driver’s license? Do you own a car?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!
And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
