A little bit about me
My name is Jeanne, and I had an
opportunity to switch careers back in 2010 and decided to pursue a career with children. Since then I have taken care of 3 families, and 1 girl occasionally for baby sitting.
The first child was a 7 year old girl.
I went to her home before school,
brought her to the bus stop and picked her up from school and brought her back to my home.
We did a variety of activities after
homework was completed.
We played imagitive games, played
with dolls, watched American Girl
movies, read, made up some silly games, and took her to Girl Scouts,
and dance classes.
The 2nd position was with a 4 year
old boy, who I brought to school and picked up. I took care of him when sick and on days off.
We practiced his alphabet, played with his white board, went to a
childrens' museutm, played pretend, and went to the library.
The 3rd position was with a 6 year old girl and her 3 month old sister.
I took the 6 year older to school in
morning and picked her up.
We sang songs, did arts and crafts,
read books, played games, played outside with sidewalk chalk, went to the local pool in the summer,
and took her to her activities and
play dates.
The 3 month old I had most of the
day. We went on long walks, read,
sang songs, went to story hours at
various libraries, blew bubbles,
went to the zoo, the playground,
play centers for toddlers, took her
outside to ride her riding toys, went to Outdoor World to see the wild
stuffed animals, and the live animals, went to the aquirium with
both girls.
Also did meal preparation, family's
laundry, vacumn, dusted, organized, cleaned bathrooms, , ran errans, pet care, and all of infant/toddler basic needs including bathing.
Occasional night time sitting also.
