A little bit about us

Hello! My husband and I are physical therapists and decided to take a big shift and move from Michigan to Alaska to pursue travel physical therapy!

We are a warm, active family of four looking for a full-time nanny for our two children during a temporary assignment in Alaska (approximately 3–6 months).

Our son is 5 and our daughter is 2. We value connection, flexibility, outdoor time, and a calm, nurturing approach to childcare. Our family follows a rhythm-based routine more than a strict schedule, and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable supporting young children in a responsive and developmentally appropriate way.

We’d love someone who:
• Has experience with infants/toddlers and young children
• Is calm, dependable, and patient
• Enjoys active play and being outdoors
• Can adapt to the changing needs/routines of young kids
• Communicates well and works collaboratively with parents

Position details:
• Full-time
• Temporary position (3–6 months)
• Alaska
• Competitive pay based on experience
• CPR/first aid preferred

We are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted, caring part of our children’s lives during this exciting season for our family.

A little bit about us

Are you a nurturing individual who loves working with infants? We are a warm family seeking a reliable nanny for our 6-month-old daughter while my wife, Maria, works from home.
Currently part time at 30-35hrs but can potentially be full time in future. There are weeks she travels for work and will need a minimum of 40 hours. Some light tidying up such as folding baby clothes and cleaning baby bottles. We have one high-energy dog who's very friendly and loves to play. If weather permits we typically do a short walk daily with the dog and baby. This is a payroll position and will be paid overtime if over 40 hours a week or over 8 hours a day.
