A little bit about us

We have a 3 year old daugher Cecilia who requires child care in New Harbour Newfoundland.

She is a brilliant, very happy child who easily engages in play and gets along with other kids and pets. She is learning to communicate her needs and is able to speak in 3-4 word sentences, although her vocabulary is still slightly limited.

We have struggled to find consistent child care for her; she has been in several day homes, and transitions easily. We seek a reliable Nanny to foster her speech development and learning skills, minimizing screen time. Our selected Nanny could provide care in our home (both parents work from home in high-performance positions).

We would require care from 10am-4pm. We are used to paying a day rate of $50/day, so an increase to an hourly rate is substantial for us. We are hoping to share Nanny care to minimize costs and increase her socialization as in previous day homes, she was mostly by herself. If she is the sole child in your care, we hope to get more value out of this care through structured learning and development to ensure our child blossoms. We will also require receipts for child care so we can file as a tax-deductible expense at the end of the year, so you must claim the income provided on your taxes.

If all of the prerequisites are clear on your resume, we will happily pay the rate listed, but we are hoping to minimize the cost increase from our previous day home.

If care is provided in your home, we expect a clean environment with a safe place for Cecilia to play. We are typically able to pick up and drop off, but occasionally will require pickup and drop-off services on days when we are in corporate meetings.
