A little bit about us…

Seeking a live in nanny for a 1 year assignment. You would have your own beautiful ohana/cottage on a 3 acre property in a botanical garden in the rainforest. 40 hours a week (7am-3pm). Job duties include but not limited to driving kids to school, childcare, housekeeping, cooking,“farm” tasks and personal assistance work. I’m a single mom that works from home full time as well as manage the three kids and this 3 acres of land. Female empowerment is an act I breathe daily and my “wing mom” needs to be of strong and sound character as life here is for the adventurer who wants to nurture their soul and spirit. We are a grow to be a good human who can help grow the collective consciousness type of family. There is mindfulness in all areas and always a think outside the box focus. It is a very organic and simple life. The ohana is a good distance from the main house so you would have your privacy and I will respect the hours you are not working. I need someone who is reliable, consistent, respectful, has strong work ethics, positive communication skills and can commit to a year. It’s important you are comfortable living alone in the middle of a botanical rainforest. There are neighbors and town is 20 min out. It’s all 3 acre lots here. We are in a jungle so there are bugs and wild pigs and rats so can’t be squeamish to live here. Lot is fenced so no pigs inside. My current nanny wants to serve the peace corp and United Nations and this has proven itself to be an ideal stomping ground! The job includes a $300 monthly stipend and to live in your own cottage in Hawaii rent free with all utilities paid and access to the truck. There is access to laundry and all the food in the main house. 3 professional references and a background check is part of the hiring process. I prefer people who have previous experience as a live in nanny and have a calling to come live in this part of Hawai’i in this type of rural setting. Also being a good driver is imperative.
