A little bit about us
My husband works long and odd hours with law enforcement. I would need someone willing to be flexible with the timeframe they watch our children. I am also looking for some help with meals and housework and hope to have someone willing to cook and clean up after the kids and themselves.
We live in a large home in the country, you really can’t see or do much by walking. Our closest town is also quite small but our home is spacious .
You can hop a train to Chicago, IL for a weekend visit. It’s about 3 hours or 5 by car. St. Louis, MO is about 1.5 hours away by car which can easily be done in a day.
Look up our area and explore what you may want to see before you get here.
We absolutely experience 4 seasons here. The winters can be bitter, spring is wet, summer is typically warm but not brutally so, in fall you will need a jacket.
Ask me before you pack!
We spend time together. Because we are rural our effort to get around is planned. On Saturdays the kids participate in Judo and then tumbling.
On Sundays we go to church in the morning and in the evening we typically watch a movie together as a family.
Some days we go out fishing or hiking in our area.
We do occasionally do outings go museums or parks. In the summer we swim and camp.
Looking for someone to look after the little one during the day. Be present when the kids get off the bus. Help prepare dinners some nights. In general, to aid with some basic household chores especially as it relates to the kids.
To play with the kids and sometimes watch them on Saturdays.
My husband and I have traveled so I absolutely understand wanting to have time to explore!
Running out of space so we look forward to your questions!
