We both work full time typical working hours (including at UM), and our anticipated start time is January. We are located in the west side near Miller Nature Area. The Head Nanny will be responsible for the daily care and developmental stimulation of her 2-year-old son. The family also has a 10-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter, both of whom have their own nanny, although the Head Nanny may be responsible for the older children on occasion.
The position will start in May 2024, and ideally candidate will commit to staying with the family for at least 2 years.
In addition to being a team player able to work alongside other household staff, the ideal candidate must possess the following:
• previous full-time experience as a nanny of toddlers
• A-Z knowledge of childcare and child development
• fun, warm, loving, engaging, active, and full of energy
• dependable, flexible, and proactive are a must
• current or former teaching experience is a plus
• clean background check
• clean driving record and valid license
• valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally with family
• high degree of confidentiality, sophistication, and command of proper English
The nanny’s schedule will be Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm; some nights and weekends will be required.
$65,000 to $75,000 annual salary with health benefits and paid time off.
