A little bit about us

Considering full, part time and babysitting options. I’m looking for someone to help lighten my load. It would be great if you’re willing to watch the kids SOME weekends such as 1 Friday a month, 1 overnight Friday-Sunday weekend stay 4 times/yr. No overnight stays will be requested until we’ve established a bond and a flow with the kids.
Generally, I would like my kids to accomplish something valuable during their time with you such as support with homework, language or music classes, pre-arranged activities that you introduce or are interested in trying for the first time, enjoying nature, art or sports together. You should be adventurous and eager to experience life in whatever ways excite you, or find fulfillment creating these opportunities for my kids and seeing them enjoy.

We do not have pets at the moment. We recently moved to the Holland area and my husband travels often for work.

My goal is to have support in various areas that allow me to continue doing my jobs well as a mom/wife, finding a moment for myself, and streamlining the processes required for the activities I want to enjoy with my family.
Examples of this may look like:
Picking up groceries before dinner.
Picking up items for a play date so I can get ready.
Helping tidy the house before guests arrive.
Occupying the kids outside on a day that I need a quiet house to focus but the kids have a lot of energy to burn.

In these scenarios, one of us will do the task and the other will have the kids. We can discuss preferences and take turns whenever possible.

I care more about the quality of person which I hire, than I care about being rigid in my ideal requirements.

You do not need to speak English, but you must be willing to enjoy communicating as we learn together.

If you have restrictions such as the ability to work weekends, evenings, early mornings or overnight, if you’re in college, have kids, or caring for a loved one, we may be willing to accommodate for the right person.
