My son is 5 years old and was diagnosed with autism in December. He’s a great kid! He’s loving, caring, and extremely smart. His speech is getting better and he’ll be starting speech therapy again in the summertime. Right now he needs one on one time with someone who understands autism better than I do. I’m new to this!
I’m looking for a nanny who’s had experience working with autistic children. I would need care from 7am-5pm Monday thru Friday just until school starts. Helps him learn the basics before starting school, i.e. ABCs, 123s, learning how to sit still and focus on “schoolwork,” etc. Once my son starts Kindergarten, I may need help picking him up from school and caring for him until I get off work.
