A little bit about us

We will need someone to help care for our newborn roughly 50-60hours a week. From 6:30am to 6pm. Due to the nature of Mom’s work, and on days when she has a post-call from an overnight shift from the hospital, Mom will take over early afternoon (around 2pm to 3pm). She is on call on average two to three days a week depending on the month. Saturday and Sunday would be off.

We are looking for someone who will be a part of our family. We are looking for someone reliable, dependable, caring and patient. They need someone who is adaptable and can be flexible with varying schedules. We are hoping to have someone who can create a loving, nurturing environment for our child which encourages exploration, imagination and kindness.

The duties will include feeding and preparing food for the baby throughout the day, getting her ready for bed, tidying the nursery after playing/any play areas, light laundry of baby clothes as needed, age-appropriate outings, taking the baby to any doctor’s appointments when appropriate/parents are unable, as needed errands for things related to the baby.

The nanny will have the option to be live-in and stay in an apartment with a private kitchen and bath over the garage, or the main house with a bedroom and private bath.

A little bit about us

Dad is an attorney who, works from home, spouse is a teacher who is home a few days a week.
Kids are sweet, loud, very playful, and one is very independent.
At home care really is about helping with the little things around the house, make some formula and feeding, or warming up food that's been prepared, or doing prep work. There is a grandmother who does most of the care and cooking but needs a hand with little things and we'll go out for appointments so full time to part-time, very flexible and looking for a friendly. Most important is able to help get kids ready in the morning so parents can get their Day started and pick older child off the bus on the corner a couple days a week.
