Our 3 year old currently attends daycare 5 days a week 830am-530pm year round, although they do have roughly ~30 days a year they are closed (Federal holidays and several 1-2 week breaks).
Responsibilities would include taking care of the newborn full time and helping with the 3 year old part time when she is not at daycare.
Ideal candidate would have the following:
1. Is happy to be a full time live in nanny, working 5-7 days a week (your own bedroom and bathroom in the house will be provided, as well as general expenses such as meals and any travel costs paid for). Exact hours are negotiable.
2. Korean fluency is a big plus. We want our children to be fluent in Korean. Our daughter understands Korean fluently thanks to mom and previous nanny immersing her in Korean for the first 18 months before she started daycare.
3. Willingness to help with household tasks such as cooking and keeping the house tidy (negotiable). We do have a regular housekeeper who comes twice a week.
4. Driver’s license and willingness to drive the kids a huge plus. This would help with managing logistics for two children and occasionally taking one or both to museums/parks/etc. Access to a family car is available for personal use as well.
5. Experience with newborns a big plus (sleep training, etc).
6. Willingness to bond with, entertain, and educate our children, becoming part of our family unit.
7. Comfortable with dogs. We have a small, cute, and fluffy ~20 pound dog.
8. Occasional opportunity (but not requirement) to travel with the family.
We will offer competitive compensation and perks (time off etc) for the right candidate.
