This person will also pick up our 5 year old son from school 2-3 days a week and care for both children for an hour together on those days.
September 19 will be the full-time start date, but we welcome flexible part-time hours sooner.
Our ideal nanny would be compassionate, patient, reliable and trustworthy.
• Administers one-on-one care and meets the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of our daughter.
• Planning and implementing child’s daily schedule, including:
o Planning daily and appropriate activities and outings
o Planning meals, preparing food
o Maintaining set feeding/napping schedule
• Organizing bedroom/toys/books at end of each day
• Light housekeeping if time permits, such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, emptying the trash, child’s laundry, etc.
• Picking up 5 year-old brother at school (Stella Niagara) 2-3 days a week at 4:00 p.m. and caring for both children until 5:00 p.m. Stella is about .5 miles from our home.
Education and Experience Requirements and Preferences:
• Must be over 18 years old
• CPR/FA certification
• Proof of COVID vaccination and booster
• Minimum one (1) year of professional or personal experience supporting children and references available
• High School Diploma preferred, early childhood education a plus
• Bilingual speaking a plus
• Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years. If driving the kids, you will use our car.
