A little bit about us
Current need: My son is 16 with high functioning autism although minimally verbal but communicative. He mostly needs someone who will engage with him and help him expand word usage and getting out into the yard to get some exercise. Need someone full time, but would be happy with two part time people.
Always looking: My 18 yo daughter has high functioning austism and needs someone to help get her out into the community - from the beach and park to shopping and eating out and everything in between. She's into art, music, drawing, baking, and animals.
I'm looking for someone for consistent hours every week at least one evening and some time on at least one day on the weekend (but open to more if you want it). You don’t have to fit all the times as long as you can be consistent or at least scheduled in advance.
There are some household tasks, like updating the shopping list, and helping kids to load/unload dishwasher. And you would need to be able to drive daughter to her appointments and activities.
