We are a busy family with 3 kids, 5 pets, & 4 businesses, and are in need of an Assistant to handle all the day-to-day aspects of running a busy family & home. Our dream candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with an incredible work ethic and an amazing ability to mulit-task (can you cook a pie, decorate for Halloween, get dinner on the table, and keep the laundry rolling all at once)?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily/weekly cooking & baking of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian kid-friendly breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meal-prep, planning, shopping & clean-up too!
Maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Update grocery list and ensure pantry and fridge are properly stocked and clean.
Ensure laundry is kept up to date.
Provide care for household dogs and cats (includes litterbox and yard cleanup)
Ensuring trash & recycling are handled.
Unpack mail & packages.
Run errands (groceries, package drop-offs, donations)
Coordinate preparation and planning for holidays, birthdays, & special events
Pack/unpack kids for vacations. House-sit dogs and cats.
Misc. projects (e.g., children's rooms & playrooms, closets, rotating clothes seasonally)
Prepare home-based cleaning solutions for weekly cleaners.
Support homeschooling of children with hands-on projects in areas of cooking/baking, home-care & general life skills. Our children are naturally inquisitive and love learning. If you are rolling pizza dough, they're not only want to help, but they'll want to know how you made it and talk to you about the history of pizza.
Candidate must be exceptionally organized & proactive, have a phenomenal work ethic & attention to detail & be able to multi-task with ease.
2+ years experience as a nanny, house manager or similar; cooking & baking experience preferred!
Able to commit to a multi-year employment.
