A little bit about us
Duties will include watching the children, school pickup/taking them to activities, cleanup of play areas, and age appropriate learning activities. NO housework, laundry, or errand running- just great, attentive childcare! We do not have any indoor pets/animals, but we do have chickens in a coop outside. We would love to find someone with prior experience as a full-time nanny, with references, CPR certified, and reliable transportation.
Initially, care would be for just our older two (3 yr old is in PreK Tuesdays/Thursdays until 2:30pm, 5 yr old gets out of Kindergarten M-F at 2:30pm same pickup), and then the new baby in early 2024 after my maternity leave. Hours to start would be 8am-5:30pm M/W/F and 2:30-5:30pm on T/Th. After the new baby is here, 40-45 hrs/week M-F with a start time around 7:30/8am and ending ~4:30/5:30pm. With our current nanny we were flexible with devising her hours and her current schedule is Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8-5:30pm so she can have Wednesday’s completely off. We are open to creating a similar schedule that we then stick to.
We provide 4 wks total paid vacation (2 wks are our dates/2 wks your dates) + all holidays paid and off. Pay is $17-21/hour.
We are an easy-going family, and have had wonderful relationships with our nanny here & previously in Chicago. Ideally this person would be interested in staying with us and growing with our family over the next few years!
