Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for our two boys, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage the children in age-appropriate activities, including educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Create a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages their growth and development.
- Prepare meals and snacks for the kids.
- Assist with basic household tasks related to the kids, such as tidying up their play areas, cleaning up after meals, occasionally folding their laundry, etc.
- Support their daily routines, including nap time for the youngest, mealtimes and snacks.
- Occasionally accompany the children to extracurricular activities or playdates, ensuring their safety during outings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a nanny or in a childcare setting.
- Genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
- Excellent understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule and Compensation:
- The position is part-time, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 5:00.
