A little bit about us
Responsibilities include housekeeping, childcare for our 2 year old (after daycare), helping with newborn care, such as diaper changes, naps and feedings. In addition, infant care overnights assistance and possibly physical care for mom that will be recovering from delivery.
In addition to childcare, we are seeking help with cooking and maintaining our home during nap times and whenever our 2 year old is engaged in independent play. Housekeeping is to include general kitchen cleaning after meals, tidying of the toys and living space, vacuuming or sweeping and folding laundry. Cooking is also required to prepare breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner.
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, playful, educational and very interactive. Someone with childcare experience and a genuine love for children. Someone who can take the initiative when it comes to helping our family in both childcare needs and house cleaning. A good attitude, great work ethic and Christian values are very important to us. Our ideal candidate is someone who can be with our family more long-term for the best interest of the children. We also look for our nanny to be energetic and engaging with the little ones. Helping to nurture their growth and calmly, kindly and confidently supporting them through any situation is a key component to this position, as we do practice respectful parenting. Familiarity or openness to understanding and implementing these methods are highly desired.
We live in Timberwood park just north of Stoneoak. If you think you'd be a good fit, we'd love to hear more about you! Thank you for your time.
