A little bit about us…

Hi!! I have a 1yr old baby boy whose parents are looking for someone to help care for our little!

We are also here looking for someone who wouldn’t mind doing a nanny share situation for my family plus my sister’s children.

My sister has two sweet baby girls! One is also 1 and the other is a few months away from 3 yrs old, almost fully potty trained! In total it would be 2 babies and 1 toddler needing care!

We would also have my mom be able to help care for all the children along with the nanny. Right now, she is taking care of our children and my nephew too (1 day a week, cause he has his other grandma able to care for him).

**Schedule on profile is what we definitely need care for. However, there is potential for adding more days/hours to the schedule.**

We all have large breed dogs (standard poodle, doodles). They are all very friendly and gentle with all ages of children & adults. Any pet care can be handled by my mom or one of the parents, as we all WFH.

You would have my mother’s help with the children (if you want!). Feedings, putting babies down for naps, taking the children on walks with the stroller, diaper changes, and playtime, will be our expectations from you with help from my mom (their Nana). :) There may be some light cleaning/meal prep needed too (sanitizing bottles) and fixing small lunch plates are the main ones.

I hope this is something that interests you! Please reach out and ask me any questions you have!

A little bit about us…

Our baby is almost 10 months old and just such a loveable baby. She is just very clingy and it makes it difficult for us to get work done (we primarily work from home). We just need someone to hang out with our almost 1 year old during the day. Help with naps, keep her entertained while we work, maybe help fold laundry or do dishes. We really only need someone a couple hours, maybe 2 or 3 days a week. We do have a big dog (lovable but no boundaries) and a cat (usually won't engage). We have a 7, almost 8 year old, who is in school during days. Maybe need help with pickup from school.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Glendale, AZ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Glendale, AZ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Glendale, AZ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
