I would like someone to watch my son at my home, so I will be there if needed. I have an at home job, so I will be in my office. Hes 3 months old, and takes multiple naps through out the day. Hes pretty easy to care for. I work Monday through Thursday 8 to 4 and no extra time would be needed since I would be at home and do not need to commute. Those would be set hours. I dont need any other needs, just to care for my son. And no meal prep needs to be done as he just eats formula.

We have a baby girl who we want to have interact with another baby close in age, without the issue of too many children all at once. Rose is a fiery little girl who likes lots of interaction and needs a nanny who is willing to part with extensive cell phone use. Days will be Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (sometimes it will be 3:30 or 4:00pm). I am an accountant and her father is an engineer. Just to clarify: we would like a nanny share.

My wife and I are expecting our first child - a baby boy- in late December of 2020 and are looking for a family to share a nanny starting in March or April of 2021. I'm a Ph.D. student doing research at ASU and my wife works in project management at ASU. We have a very flexible schedule and are open to discussing different dates and times for infant care. We have a cat and dog, enjoying stargazing, hiking, camping, and rock climbing- anything outdoors!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Tempe, AZ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. What is an Infant Nanny in Tempe, AZ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Tempe, AZ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
