A little bit about us…

We’re a fun-loving family with two wonderful kiddos—a smart, empathic, and creative 5-year-old and a sweet 10-month-old! We’re looking for a kind, engaging nanny to join us part-time: Mondays and Thursdays from 8am–6pm, and Tuesdays from 8am–1:45pm. The older child is in school part of the day, so most of the care will be focused on the baby during those times.

Our ideal nanny would enjoy imaginative play, dress-up, building, crafts, reading, and board/card games. We live on a little animal-friendly property with dogs, cats, and even goats—though your only pet duty would be letting the dogs out for bathroom breaks. We want someone up-to-date on childhood vaccinations (and flu, if possible), who’s reliable, warm, and ready to become part of our family’s rhythm!

A little bit about us…

Hello! We are looking for a nanny who’s able to work M-F from 9-4 PM to care for our almost 2 year old daughter, Elle, starting Nov 11th. I am expecting a baby boy at the end of Dec. so this position will eventually be for both our kids.

Elle is smart, fun, imaginative & confident. She loves to play and makes you laugh. We’re looking for someone who’s patient, fun loving, caring to be with our child. We are great to work with/for. Our nanny’s been with us since Elle was 3 month old and have traveled with us on multiple occasions as well.

The only reason we’re looking is because our current nanny will be out for some surgeries and will need some time off. Once she can return to work, she is only able to work MWF so we will need a nanny for Tues & Thurs starting in January possibly.

This role does require some light housekeeping: upkeep with the kids’ laundry and dishes. Light meal prepping for Elle, but most of the time, I usually have food ready for her. CPR training is a must for us.

If this is something that fits what you’re looking for, please reach out to me! Thank you!

A little bit about us…

I have two school aged girls who would need transportation to and from school and a baby who is 3 months old. I’m a nurse and work 12 hour shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM) but my schedule varies every week. Some weeks I may not need a sitter, other weeks I may need 2 days. My boyfriend tends to get home between 3-5 so it would be a 6 AM - 5 PM day, give or take. I have 3 dogs in the house that would need fed as well but don’t worry, they’re super friendly.

A little bit about us…

Fun-loving family is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) childcare provider 24hrs/week. Days and hours are somewhat flexible. We have 2 boys; a 4 year old and a 6 month old. Husband works from a home office, so he will be available to answer questions/help when he's not in a meeting.
We have memberships to the zoo and butterfly exhibit. The kids enjoy having picnics at the parks too. You would be expected to work with our preschooler for about 30-60/min each day on workbooks and/or teach him about topics of interest. Our baby will need diapers changed, feedings, and developmentally appropriate play. Light meal prep and clean up will be part of this job too. You also must love pets. We have 2 small dogs that need to be let outside a couple times/day and a friendly cat. We are hoping to raise our boys bilingual, so we would prefer the childcare provide communicate with the boys primarily in Spanish. I am looking for a childcare provider who has infant experience, can pass a background check and has a clean driving record in the last 5 years, and is CPR certified. I am willing to pay for these clearances/certifications if we find the right candidate.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Peoria, AZ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Peoria, AZ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Peoria, AZ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
