A little bit about us…

Hello there! We are the Peoples Family. My wife and I will need help starting the first week of December when she goes back to work. Our daughter will be 6 months at that time. My wife works from home and can't work and see to what our daughter needs during the day. We are looking for someone to help take care of her in our home while my wife is in meetings and doing her work.

Our daughter has a pretty even temperament. Responsibilities include: help feed, change, play with and put down for naps during the day.

We are looking for someone on Mondays-Wednesdays from 9 am to 3 pm. There will be no pick up or drop off. We do have an 8 pound dog that sleeps most of the time in the house. Our ideal nanny has a lot of experience with babies, possibly including having raised her own.

We are looking for a nanny starting in late July/early August 2024 for our daughter who will be 3.5 months old at that time. Looking for 5 days per week, flexible hours (approximately 9-3pm) for childcare, duties would be taking care of our infant and other things to include her laundry, preparing and washing bottles, etc. We are also open to hiring for a full-time position to include other tasks such as light tidying/cleaning, occasional grocery pickup, etc. We are open to joining/starting a nanny share as well.
We have two dogs with a fenced in yard, so the only expectation would be to let them out occasionally throughout the day.

A little bit about us…

Our baby is due in November so we are looking for someone to start in January as I go back to work. My wife and I both work from home so we will be in the house for anything you need. Looking for someone to also do light housecleaning.

We are very flexible on workdays but would like to have a set schedule that we can agree on from the start. Looking anywhere between 20-25 hours a week.

This is our first child and we opted to have in home care instead of taking the little one to a daycare. Very easy going parents that look to bring a trusted and responsible individual into the family. Would love some sort of educational background so we can start early on learning. We do have 2 very friendly dogs in home so must be comfortable around animals.

Looking forward to speaking with you about your experience!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Aurora, CO

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Aurora, CO

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Aurora, CO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
