A little bit about us…
Hello my name is Liz and my daughters name is Caliana , Cali for short she is 9 months old I also have a son who is 6 years old but he can pretty much take care of himself. I am looking for care from 12pm to 6pm on mondays as I am pretty busy working on the phones that day and my husband work longer hours that day as well. For Cali around 12 she wakes up from a nap and is just ready to explore. I like to put on Gracie's corner for her for a little she loves the songs and likes to dance to them. Then it will be her feedings around 12 -140pm is lunch time she can sleep till 130pm sometimes. I will have the food that she eats organized and put out for her. It's more of play time with her and if she gets really fussy around 4 or 5 she is ready for a nap and that's around the time I am even more busy where I cant attend to her needs in that area 😔. I have been doing it on my own with her for months and honestly the bigger she gets and more mobile she is its just alot more harder. I work a overnight shift as well so I have so much energy left in me. She can stand up on things and crawl as well. I keep her away from the dogs we do have 2 dogs who are friendly but they will be in the back room with me. I will come out of the room occasionally to get something to eat or to walk the dogs.
She's is a very happy baby and I want to keep it that way by giving her all the love and attention she craves I can sometimes not give to her.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Denver, CO

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Denver, CO

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Denver, CO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
