A little bit about us
Our standards are high, but not so high that you need to meticulously search amazon to find a magic handbag to pull lamps and umbrellas out of. We’re simply looking for someone who would be excited to keep the sweetest 4.5 year old and 2.5 year old alive and thriving.
This opportunity is for 45ish hours a week, Monday-Friday, out of our house in Parker, Colorado. I work from home, so will be close by to pop out and say hi throughout the day. We’ve got a really comfortable couch, puzzles, and enough coffee to fuel the day. We live in 3 acres, so have plenty of space to run and get good outdoor time!
Our 4.5 year old will be going to school this next fall - and we would be interested in exploring a nanny share situation at our house to provide additional salary increase and opportunities, if it fits with out next nanny's desires.
We’re looking for a Christ-follower who will love and care for our littles, pray over them, and teach them all the important developmental lessons that these naïve parents are likely forgetting about. What starts as a happy agreement, we hope turns into a long-term fit and mutual “adoption” into each other’s families, celebrating birthdays and inviting to Thanksgiving dinners.
Cooking and light housework passions are a plus. Salary is negotiable.
If this sounds like it could be Cinderella slipper-type fit, please reach out! We're looking for likely an end of March start date.

A little bit about us
I work as an Emergency Medicine Physician- approximately 10-12 shifts per month that are 8-12hrs long. These shifts vary in time and day. I typically get my monthly schedule two months in advance- so you would have advance notice of varying shifts. I will be on maternity leave until early/mid October and am looking for coverage beginning at that time.
My husband is in investment banking- his schedule is much more predictable. Hours are M-F, approximately 7a-5:30p.
Ultimately, we’re looking for a part time nanny who is able to accommodate a varying schedule and provide in-home care when our work schedules overlap.
No nights required!
We have a very sweet 3 year old dog named Popcorn who will be around as well- there is a possibility we’d ask our nanny to please feed or let her out to potty- but nothing more. We are primarily interested in high quality care for our new little girl!
Overall, the schedule would likely be 12-13 days per month. 2-3 of those days will likely be weekend days. Each day would likely be 10-12 hours of in-home care. This can vary, but the hope is that we would be able to find an agreement of minimum/maximum monthly days with a narrow range. This is helpful so you know what to expect monthly with your salary, and we can be respectful of your time.
Thank you for considering us!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Parker, CO
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Parker, CO
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Parker, CO? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
