We’re looking for a caring, reliable part-time nanny for our 6-month-old daughter!

Schedule:
Mondays & Fridays
Approximately 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, though we have some flexibility with exact hours
We’d potentially be open to adding additional days as our daughter gets older

Responsibilities:
Caring for and engaging with our baby throughout the day
Putting her down for naps and following her nap routine
Diaper changes and feeding
Lots of age-appropriate play, interaction, and attention
Light housekeeping related to the baby (washing bottles, tidying toys/play areas, etc.)

Both parents work from home, so we’ll be around but are looking for someone who can independently care for and engage with our daughter during the day.

Ideal candidate:
Experience caring for babies under 1 year old and/or
Currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development & Family Studies, or a related field
Warm, patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with infants
Comfortable following a baby’s routine and communicating with parents

A little bit about us

Our son will be 7 months old and is bottle fed. He would need care for about 10 hours so that my wife can sleep when she gets home from work. I am a firefighter and will be working 48 hours on, 96 hours off. Will need care for both of my days that I am working. This averages out to about 3x/week. My wife works night shift, and gets home around 7am. I leave for work around 630 so will need care to start at that time.

A little bit about us

Hi there !
Marceau is looking for a nanny because it's starting to be hard to manage everything. I am a freelancer journalist and I also give horse riding classes 15 to 20 hours per week. My schedule changes all the time but my husband is more on a normal schedule. We need a nanny for about 20 to 30 hours a week and we are flexible. We can share the pick-up, drop-off. We don't have a pet.

Thank you !

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Fort Collins, CO

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Fort Collins, CO

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Fort Collins, CO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
